Chile Adjusts to Standard Time as Summer Time Ends

WEB Chile has officially shifted to Standard Time at 00:00 AM on Sunday, April 7. The clocks were turned back by one hour, aligning with the country's time zone change.
Including Easter Island, Chile comprises three distinct time zones. Effective April 7, 2024, the following time zones will apply:
- UTC -4: Chile Standard Time (CLT)
- UTC -5: Easter Island Standard Time (EASST)
- UTC -6: Rapa Nui Standard Time (EAST)
Compared to New York City, Chile's time can vary by one or two hours throughout the year, depending on the season.

As of Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 9:50:13 AM local time, Chile is observing UTC-3. Summer Time will be implemented in the future, but the specific date has yet to be announced.
