Israel's War on Gaza: Live News

Israeli Bombings in Rafah; Haniyeh Meets Erdogan

Toll Rises Amid Israeli Hit on Iran's Isfahan, Gazans Suffer Malnutrition, Dehydration

Since October, at least 33843 Palestinians have been killed and 76575 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza, according to the Gazan Health Ministry. On Saturday, Israel carried out airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, including near hospitals and other civilian areas.

In a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh condemned Israel's "barbaric aggression" and called for international intervention. Erdogan expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and urged Israel to stop its attacks.

The Israeli military claimed that its strikes were targeting Hamas and other militant groups in Gaza. However, reports indicate that many of the victims were civilians. Among the dead were an infant and a young woman who died from malnutrition and dehydration in northern Gaza.

The United Nations has condemned the violence and called for a ceasefire. The United States has also expressed concern about the civilian casualties and urged both sides to exercise restraint.

The war in Gaza has drawn widespread international condemnation. Many countries and human rights groups have called on Israel to end its offensive.
